The National Research Center for College & University Admissions
Noel-Levitz, the nation’s leading
higher-education consulting firm, and the National Research Center for
College & University Admissions (NRCCUA),
the nation’s leader in surveying high school students, announced today
that they are forming a strategic partnership to provide targeted lists
of prospective students and related predictive modeling capabilities to
colleges and universities. Also as part of the alliance, NRCCUA has
assumed management of "My College Options," the Noel-Levitz
college-planning and matching service.
The new prospecting service combines Noel-Levitz’s enrollment management
and analytical expertise with NRCCUA’s student research resources to
allow colleges and universities to acquire names from NRCCUA’s database
of college-bound students that have been further refined with
Noel-Levitz’s predictive models. The result: a more-targeted student
prospect list for admissions offices.
Kevin Crockett, Noel-Levitz president and CEO, said, "Our strategic
alliance with NRCCUA provides our customers with the ability to mine a
5.7-million-student database for ‘best fit’ prospects using the most
sophisticated predictive modeling tools available. This new service will
provide colleges and universities with the most comprehensive and robust
set of prospecting services available in the marketplace."
NRCCUA will expand the My College Options service and integrate it into
its suite of college planning services. "My College Options is a strong
complement to the NRCCUA Talent Identification Program©, through which
colleges, universities, and educational organizations can access names,
addresses, academic interests, and abilities of college-bound high
school students," said Don Munce, president of NRCCUA. "Students and
college enrollment officers will benefit by the inclusion of My College
Options with NRCCUA’s other survey tools."
My College Options was launched in September 2001 and has been used by
nearly 1 million high school students. This free service for students,
their parents and high school counselor’s helps college-bound students
explores a range of post-secondary opportunities available to them and
links them to institutions that match their interests.

a 15-20-minute survey administered under teacher/staff supervision at
schools that have received the form. The system delivers students
